Today, Congressman Scott Peters (CA-52) released the following statement after the Senate passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill on a bipartisan 68-32 vote.

"I am pleased that the Senate has acted in a bipartisan manner to address this pressing national issue. They had an open dialogue that included the viewpoints of members from across the country.

"It is my hope that a similar process will occur here in the House. It is our turn to take action. We need to move forward together, working across the aisle, to craft a solution that is good for San Diego's families and business community, as well as our national economy."
