Rep. Schneider Calls for Full Investigation of Unfair Treatment at IRS

U.S. Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) issued the following statement in response to reports that the Internal Revenue Service singling out certain groups for unfair scrunity:
"All groups, regardless of political affiliation, should be judged on an equal playing field. Clearly this standard was not upheld when the IRS unfairly targeted certain organizations. The IRS must be independent and unbiased in its work and decisions, and any actions not consistent with this approach are simply unacceptable and must be fully investigated."
