Titus Applauds USPS Decision to Continue Six-Day Mail Delivery

Statement

Date: April 10, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada's First District released the following statement today after the U.S. Postal Service announced its decision to cancel a plan to end Saturday mail delivery:

"The U.S. Postal Service made the right decision to continue the tradition of Saturday mail delivery. Six-day mail delivery is the Postal Service's most competitive advantage and is critical for its long-term viability. But most importantly, today's decision ensures that Nevada's seniors, veterans, and businesses will continue to receive the mail services they rely on."
