Barrasso: Obama Budget is a Bad Afterthought -- Not a Good Answer

Statement

Date: April 10, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding President Obama's FY2014 budget:

"After the House and the Senate both passed a budget, President Obama sent his budget to Congress today two months late. As usual, he continues to lead from behind.

"Instead of using his extra time to develop proposals that will create jobs and grow the economy, President Obama is proposing more of the same taxes, debt, spending and accounting gimmicks.

"This budget is a bad afterthought instead of a good answer to America's challenges."
