U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, a member of the Senate Budget Committee, released the following statement in response to the Fiscal Year 2014 budget proposed by the White House today:

"The President's budget proposal is a good faith effort to find real compromise between the House and Senate budgets. I'm encouraged by ongoing conversations among my Senate colleagues and look forward to working toward a final budget deal."
