"Today, Chairman Ryan unveiled the Republican leadership's Groundhog Day budget: New Congress. Same bad ideas.

"It includes their greatest hits: Tax cuts for the well off, gutting Medicare, slashing domestic programs, increasing Pentagon spending and, for the 35th time, a repeal of ObamaCare. In November, the American people rejected the Ryan budget. Congress should follow their lead.

"It's time for Republican leaders to break the grip of the Tea Party and come to the table with a willingness to compromise and make progress for the American people."
