Wisconsin was once considered a pioneer in educational innovation and creativity. Statewide test scores used to rank among the best in the nation. Now, we are near the bottom, with some of the worst achievement gaps in the nation.

Under the leadership of Governor Walker, we are heading in the right direction, by refocusing on success in the classroom. But we can do more. In the Assembly, I will support these simple yet effective reforms:

IMPROVE TRANSPARENCY

IMPROVE ACCOUNTABILITY

CREATE MORE CHOICE

ALLOW GREATER LOCAL CONTROL
