Congresswoman Duckworth Applauds Midland Realty and Development and Glendale Heights VFW For Resolving Dispute

Today, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-8) reached out to both Midland Realty and Development and the Glendale Heights VFW about a recent dispute over whether the VFW could continue to fly its American and POW flags.

"After speaking with Midland Realty and Development I am confident that they are committed to allowing the POW and American flags to be flown outside the Glendale Heights VFW," said Duckworth. "We must all recognize and respect the VFW and the role it plays in our communities and in serving Veterans. The American and POW flags are important symbols for both Veterans and all Americans and I applaud Midland Realty and the Glendale Heights VFW for reconciling their differences on this matter."
