Issue Position

Tax reform is imperative to righting our fiscal ship. We must do what we can legislatively to broaden the base and create jobs for hardworking, American taxpayers. I am honored to be an original co-sponsor of H.R. 25, the Fair Tax Act, sponsored by my fellow Georgia colleague, Rep. Rob Woodall. This legislation will guarantee American families and business are able to keep more of their hard-earned money and protect them from unjust financial intrusion from the federal government.

There is a level of uncertainty that exist among investors, small business owners, and families with regard to our tax system. Those groups of people deserve better, and it's time for the federal government to offer real solutions.
