I ran for Congress for three reasons -- my children. They deserve a better future than the one the federal government is currently promising with $16 trillion in debt and climbing. We've seen countries like Greece and Portugal suffer from there out of control debt, and it's our duty to get the United States path on the path of fiscal responsibility.
