Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) today voted against a bill that failed to responsibly raise the debt limit in a manner that creates economic security for our businesses and families.

"Our constituents are tired of gimmicky game-playing. It is wrong to condition the responsibility of the United States paying our bills to the passage of a potentially bad budget bill that makes drastic cuts to such issues as Medicare, Social Security, and student loans," Congresswoman Lois Frankel said.
