Issue Position

For as long as I have been a registered voter, I have never been a member of a political party. I believe that our two-party system has created an atmosphere of polarization, and I am tired of the lack of cooperation and progress. I am Independent because I know there are virtues to both party's platforms. I also understand that there is no single correct way to address our society's problems. I am Independent because I am willing to work together with an open mind, and I am not going to toe the party line. These are reasons why I am a Clean Elections candidate, and why I want to bring that spirit to the Maine Legislature; to represent those who feel the same.
