Issue Position

We all complain about the escalating taxes we pay. It is a tragedy when our elderly neighbors, friends, or family are forced out of their home by increasing property taxes. The continual call for more local exemptions is not the answer. The answer is to stop passing unfunded mandates and the state legislature needs to take responsibility and finance its own programs.
