Issue Position

John believes we should wisely invest in updating transportation systems, powergrids, and water and sewer systems along with other needed infrastructure improvements. We can't afford to have more bridges collapse, crumbling roads, risk power outages, or drink contaminated water. We simply can't. These are short and medium term jobs that will stimulate employment immediately and infuse businesses with sales of product and services. There are thousands ofpeople ready to work on these necessary projects here in our Senate district and John believes bonding bills are the right vehicle to getting it done. If we continue to put these projects off, John believes we are unnecessarily inviting infrastructure breakdowns and face it -- these projects will never be less costly.
