Not enough support is given to the local businesses who contribute to our community. Job creation, stability and future economic growth for the local business must become a priority. As your next State Rep, I will work with the local business owners to help our neighborhoods grow and prosper."

Strengthening Small Business

John knows that supporting and strengthening small businesses is the key to creating local jobs and getting our economy back on track. John supports legislation that encourages start up businesses with a new low tax rate and the sales tax holiday to help boost sales for local retailers. John is a champion for transparency for tax credits, so we can ensure that we are investing in businesses that are creating jobs in our communities.

Creating Jobs

John knows that regardless of what we hear on the news, if you don’t have a job, the economy is not working for you. We need to do more to encourage local business to create lasting jobs in our communities. We need to do more to provide training and opportunity for our workforce to ensure they are prepared for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Reducing the Costs of Business

As a small business owner in our community, John understands the difficulties that one can face in starting a business. Finding ways to make this process easier and helping our business community succeed is the best way to get our economy back on track.

As our next State Representative, John Lawn will make it his priority to collaborate with local businesses to help them identify their needs and create a stable and growing economy for all of us.
