We need to keep our state budget balanced without raising taxes. Wisconsin residences are taxed too much and they need a break. The government needs to continue to find ways to cut the budget and then grow the economy to create opportunities for prosperity for all Wisconsinites. We cannot go down the road that Illinois has. Big tax increases there have not helped them balance their budget. Former Chicago Mayor William Daley Jr. thinks property taxes in Chicago could double in the next five years.
