Wall Campaign's New TV Ad: It Takes Brass to Falsely Attack Someone for Something You Did

Today Jamie Wall's campaign for Congress aired a new television ad that references President Bill Clinton's statement that it takes brass to falsely attack someone for something you did. Wall's new ad exposes Congressman Reid Ribble's poor record on senior issues and directly responds to the National Republican Campaign Committee's false attacks on Wall.

"The only person in this race to have voted for cuts to Medicare is my opponent Congressman Reid Ribble," said Jamie Wall. "Ridiculous attacks like this are why people hate politicians. Congressman Ribble and his Washington friends are attacking me for something he supports and voted for on multiple occasions. In fact, Congressman Ribble helped craft the Ribble/Ryan Budget that guts Medicare to pay for tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas and handouts to big oil companies. Congressman Ribble also called Social Security a "Ponzi scheme' and believes this important program should be phased out. These are the wrong priorities for northeast Wisconsin."

Last week, Jamie Wall held a press conference with Janet Witt of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare (NCPSSM) and northeast Wisconsin seniors. At the conference, Wall signed a pledge to protect Medicare.

"There are thousands of seniors throughout northeast Wisconsin, millions around the country, including my mother Jo Ann and godmother Dolores, who depend on Medicare and Social Security," said Wall. "Without these programs, some senior citizens would have to choose between their groceries and their prescriptions. Others would be forced to sell their homes and move in with their adult children. As a Member of Congress, I will fight to protect Medicare and Social Security."
