Issue Position

I will not support an increase in taxes for working families and business in Wisconsin. Gov. Scott Walker has shown that lowering taxes on business will bring jobs to our state and I will work with him to this end. Creating jobs and growing the economy in Northern Wisconsin is the single most important issue in this election. An influx of business and entrepreneurs will increase tax revenues for the state, as well as helping individuals and businesses. Raising taxes during an economic downturn would hurt the economy and stunt job creation. Wisconsin already has the 7th highest property tax in the nation and I will fight to reduce both income and property taxes for the citizens of Wisconsin.
