Issue Position

I will work to ensure that our children and families enjoy the benefit of the best education we can. I am invested in our schools and I believe in our public school system, where my children are enrolled. Financially speaking, a strong education system is a crucial part of home valuation. I believe in:

* Providing incentives for towns to regionalize of school transportation where it makes sense fiscally and practically.
* Maximizing the resources of the area by providing opportunities for streamlined collaboration among our school systems for expensive but very necessary special needs programs.
* Creating clear statewide guidelines to create consistency among school systems, for example establishing a single date of eligibility for enrollment (cut off date).
