Issue Position: Criminal Justice System

Issue Position

We have more people in jail in Georgia than any other state in America. Georgia also has more incarcerated youth than any other State. There is something wrong with the criminal justice system. We are not treating our citizen's right: we are criminalizing our young minds for the rest of their lives for the sort of things that make no sense. I want to help those who want to move forward with their lives without being labeled as criminals.
