Stephen Lynch supported the Obama Administration's removal of U.S. military forces in Iraq. Lynch believes that there is still a role for the U.S. to play as a partner in assisting with Iraq's continued development. As a member of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Stephen has been to Iraq 14 times. he will continue to participate in future oversight of reconstruction efforts in Iraq.
