Issue Position

As the father of three, Chuck Hufstetler knows the importance of Georgia providing a quality education to our future generations. The problem with education is not the teachers, administrators, or school boards, but the bureaucrats in Washington, DC and Atlanta who believe that they know what is best for education. Hufstetler firmly believes that instructional decisions are made best in the classroom by the teachers and in the home by the parents. For too long education decisions have been made too far removed from the frontline of the classroom. It is time to truly put parents and teachers back into the driver's seat when it comes to education.
