Issues: Employment and Affirmative Action Veterans

Today, the Senate is set to take up President Obama's Veterans Job Corps Act, which would invest in our veterans by increasing training & creating job opportunities for them once they return home. The unemployment rate among veterans ages 18-24 is 30%--this is unacceptable. With more and more of our brave veterans returning home, we must act to make sure jobs are there for them. I strongly urge my colleagues to join me in supporting this crucial legislation.
