Issue Position

The students of this area represent an immeasurable investment, one that will benefit the area tremendously if we can retain them after primary and secondary education. We have prepared them well for the world as we have given them a solid foundation in their education and by supplying many in the Gardner-area with numerous scholarships to further that education. I will make sure to bring in State and Federal money to the district to ensure that this continues well into the future. But it is also our duty to keep these students interested in returning to the district by giving them the best economic opportunities possible. Bringing in new and diverse businesses will create an appeal necessary to do so. As students settle in the area they will help to stimulate the economy, putting more money into the public schools, and furthering the cycle.
