Issue Position

Our economy will not recover, and we will continue to lose jobs until we stop the outrageous spending enacted by Democrats over the last four years.

The free market will adjust itself and our national economy will start growing again if Washington will get out of the way, and start balancing the federal budget.

I am one of the few members of Congress that voted against the original Bush TARP bailout scheme and the follow-up Obama stimulus plan, because both are detrimental to our long-term economic health and have slowed our recovery from recession.

I am committed to repealing both bills, immediately returning any unspent funds to the treasury, and aggressively seeking recovery of every nickel of our taxpayer money handed out through these massive giveways.
