Issue Position

As someone who relied on aid to make it through college, Ruben understands the importance of quality, affordable higher education, and recognizes the vital role that higher education plays in providing opportunities for all.

As a member of the South Mountain Community College Advisory Committee, Rep. Gallego has fought for increased access to educational opportunities for high school students and recent high school graduates in our area. Additionally, he has worked to keep funding levels up and tuition levels down for students at ASU and other public colleges and universities in Arizona.
