Representative Gallego always acts with our area's interests in mind. As our legislator, Ruben has fought for more jobs and economic development in the district, supporting expedited construction of the Loop 202 extension and turning the Salt River riverbank into one of the nation's largest solar energy fields. Ruben is also the only legislator who has hosted job fairs specifically for his constituents.

Ruben also works to combat anti-Phoenix legislation, and was one of the most vocal opponents of HR1133 in 2011, which would have hurt Phoenix's ability to provide adequate services to residents.
