1. Jobs Now

Jobs will come back to SW Florida when people realize the benefits of moving their families and businesses here. We must have leaders that seek out opportunities to bring in new businesses and are able to articulate the many reasons a business is better off in Florida than elsewhere.

Some changes that need to be made to make Florida more business friendly are:

*Addressing one of the highest state corporate tax rates in the nation.
*Speeding up the foreclosure process to get many of the homes back into the housing market so families can move in.

2. Future Jobs

The jobs of tomorrow must be planned for now. With proper preparation, we can prevent a weak economy before we have to deal with one.

Ways to prepare future jobs now:

*Getting business partners involved with our Universities. We have some of the most sought after and selective universities in the country here in Florida.
*Provide incentives for our best and brightest students to remain and work in Florida upon graduation. This will not only keep the most top quality graduates in Florida but will force companies who want to hire these students to locate to Florida.
