Issue Position

Families and traditional marriage benefit our society. I firmly believe that the institution of marriage should be protected, and that marriage is defined as one man and one woman. The decisions I make as a member of the House of Representatives will always be done with the best interests of families and children in mind. Beyond social policy, I also work to strengthen families by promoting family-friendly improvements in our tax code, and by working for a stronger economy and better paying jobs. If you care about families you must also work to help with the financial stresses that place such great burdens on them.
