Issue Position

Our beaches, coast, and open spaces make the South Bay a great place to live. Al Muratsuchi will fight to protect our environment. As a Torrance Environmental Quality and Energy Conservation Commissioner, Al supported the expansion of city recycling and other environmentally friendly programs. As a Torrance School Boardmember, Al supported the adoption of green school programs and facilities, including an energy conservation program that has saved the district over $4 million in the past four years. And as a surfer, Al cares deeply about our ocean and beaches. That's why Al is endorsed by the California League of Conservation Voters.
