While it is not the job of government to make jobs, it is the job of government to make an environment that is friendly so businesses can create jobs. As the owner of a 3rd generation small business, I know the challenges we face and will work to create a business environment in Michigan that encourages people to open more businesses and create more jobs here rather than leaving for other places.
