Gov. Mike Rounds today asked that all flags in the state be flown at half staff from 8 a.m. (CDT) Wednesday, October 13, 2004 until sunset Wednesday, Oct. 13 in honor of state Senator Drue Vitter who died on Friday.
"Senator Vitter was a tireless advocate for the citizens of District 30," said Gov. Rounds. "It is appropriate we show our respects in this manner."
