Kathy Hochul, candidate for New York's 26th Congressional District, today received the endorsement of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare
Max Richtman, Executive Vice President of the multi-million member organization, credited the endorsement to Hochul's leadership, vision and determination to fight for America's working families and seniors.
"The National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare, on behalf of its
millions of members and supporters, enthusiastically endorses Kathy Hochul's candidacy for the United States House of Representatives," said Richtman. "Kathy Hochul understands and supports the critical roles that Social Security and Medicare play in the retirement and health security of our nation's older citizens and their families. We have no doubt she is well-prepared to serve the needs of seniors and will make the preservation of Social Security and Medicare a priority in office."
"I am truly grateful to the National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare for their support and endorsement," said Hochul. "With their backing, we will fight the Republican budget that aims to decimate Medicare and any Republican efforts to privatize Social Security. I will stop at nothing to protect the guarantees we've made to our seniors over the last 76 years."
