The following is a statement from State Representative Marc Veasey, candidate for Texas' Congressional District 33, on this morning's ruling from the Supreme Court on the Affordable Care Act:
"Today's decision is a victory for all Americans and I'm excited about the prospect of joining the fight in Congress to continue this work. America is now closer than ever to the day when no one need worry about the catastrophic consequences that can result from getting sick without insurance. However, there is much work to be done and, if elected, I will be proud to join our President in completing that work."
