Blog: Strike Three

Statement

Date: June 25, 2012

In baseball, it's three strikes and you're out.

In Congress, it's three strikes and reelect me again.

Congressman Mike McIntyre voted to borrow 800 billion dollars for President Obama's stimulus. Mike McIntyre said more spending would create jobs. Unemployment increased. Strike one.

So Congressman McIntyre voted to borrow another 150 billion dollars for another Obama stimulus. More Americans dropped out of the labor force and quit looking for work. Strike two.

So Congressman McIntyre voted to spend another 26 billion dollars for another Obama stimulus. Strike three.

With three strikes and a bigger national debt, Mike McIntyre ought to be out. But this is Congress, not baseball.

And with$750,000 in the bank and 20 fundraisers planned, Mike McIntyre is going to blanket us with 24/7 advertising to get reelected. He'll be telling us he really hasn't helped Barack Obama push this country over the cliff, yet he has increased our debt by voting for stimulus spending three separate times!

That's why I need your support to get the facts to the voters. Please click here and contribute $50, $100, or $250 to my campaign to take back Congress for fiscal sanity.

Mike McIntyre said more spending would create jobs. He was dead wrong. The debt hangover is killing our economy, hanging over us like a wet blanket. If we don't stop the borrowing and spending in Washington, our economy will melt down just like Europe is melting down before our eyes.

We can't have a congressman that stands silently by and votes to advance the Obama agenda like Mike McIntyre. And that means we need money to get the fact to the voters.
