In response to today's unanimous decision by the University of Virginia Board of Visitors to reinstate President Teresa Sullivan, former governor and U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine released the following statement:

"I am heartened by today's unanimous decision by the Board of Visitors to reinstate President Sullivan. I am confident that the University of Virginia will emerge stronger than ever and continue to move forward as an exemplary educational institution critical to the future of our Commonwealth."
