Issue Position

I am a businessman and thus am very fiscally conservative. I do not like taxes! I recognize that they are a necessary evil but want to keep them as low as possible. As the economy continues to improve I favor putting additional money in the Rainy Day Fund and then after funding some growth issues, giving money back to the taxpayer in the way of lower taxes or rebates. I support efforts to study the ways that we can broaden the base and lower the rate of the sales tax.
