Ed Goodwin opposes the government takeover of healthcare. As a supporter of the free markets, he believes increased competition within the private sector will lower costs without diminishing the quality or accessibility of care.

Ed knows a major cost for families as well as small business owners is the cost of healthcare. He supports allowing business owners to use pre-tax income to purchase healthcare for employees which will make healthcare costs more reasonable for small to medium sized business owners.
