Issue Position: Public Safety

Issue Position

As a retired Spokane Police Officer, I understand the importance of public safety. A core function of government is protection of its citizens. I will support legislation that helps improve the safety of our citizens. We must be serious about justice and punishment in order for prison time to be effective. I will not support legislation that releases violent criminals early. Public safety is our silent partner in improving the economy.
