Issue Position

Being a combat veteran, I remember what it was like to come back home to Illinois. I can remember the great feeling of reuniting with my family and friends. I also remember feeling as if I had been stuck in a "time warp." Not feeling as if I was doing anything "as important" anymore. Wondering if anyone understood what was going on outside of the "Illinois Bubble."

Illinois does a great job at providing benefits and services for veterans.

We can still push forward and do better.
