Location: Albuquerque, NM
Issues: Elections

Michelle Lujan Grisham shined during this evening's candidate debate, successfully highlighting why she will be the most effective fighter for the middle class when she is elected to Congress.

"I have consistently proven my courage, conviction and integrity in the face of adversity," Lujan Grisham said during the debate.

Lujan Grisham highlighted her courage during the debate when she detailed how she went undercover and posed as a stroke victim to expose the neglect and abuse at a nursing home, which was later shut down as a result of her investigation.

Lujan Grisham also made a compelling case for primary voters about why she is the clear choice to stand up to Republicans in the general election. The Republican Party and out-of-state Super PACs will spend millions of dollars to convince independent voters that they are running "moderate", women candidates for Senate and the House here in New Mexico.

Lujan Grisham pointed out during the debate that she fought the Bush Administration's abstinence-only agenda and stuck by her convictions by using federal funding to pay for an age-appropriate sex-education curriculum in schools to educate and protect our kids. She stood up and did what's right.

As a Bernalillo County Commissioner, Lujan Grisham has displayed unmatched integrity in raising ethical standards and restoring trust to county government, something she will do in Congress.
