Issues: Government Budget and Spending
We must have a balanced budget to restore our country's fiscal discipline. To achieve this, our government must be willing to reduce spending and produce real and sustainable entitlement reform. We cannot continue the borrow-and-spend approach that leaves behind a mountain of debt for the next generation to pay. Members of Congress must be willing to make the tough choices, and I will continue to be a leading voice for getting our fiscal house in order.
