Senator David Rouzer released the following statement regarding today's annexation bill vote (HB 925):
"I want to thank my colleagues and the Senate leadership for working with us to resolve this important de-annexation issue, particularly for the Goldsboro communities and Monkey Junction, which was being forcibly annexed by Wilmington. I am pleased that the legislation we passed today will permanently address the matter for these and other communities in the state."
