Statement

Thank you! We won a great victory Tuesday night.

And I want to thank each and every supporter who worked precincts, made phone calls, put up yard signs, wrote letters to the editor, emailed their friends on our behalf, and most of all -- who voted for me and helped us make this victory possible.

Unoffical results showed that with all precincts in we won 48.5% to 44.5%. You made the difference. Without the actions of friends like you, we would not have won this election.

I am humbled by your hard work, your prayers and your generous contributions. I feel blessed and awed to be part of such a monumental election day.

When we first began, voters in only two counties had any knowledge of me and my record and we had significant ground to make up. With your help, we were able to match my opponent and win this primary.

I want to commend Mr. Pantano and his supporters for a well-run campaign. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for his service to our country as a United States Marine.

Now, we must turn our eyes to the November election. Everything good about America will be on the line! We must defeat Barack Obama and the Democrats who are determined to turn America into a European socialist welfare state.

We will defeat Congressman Mike Mcintyre, but only if we redouble our efforts and start work now.
