Foxx Endorses Howard Coble

Congresswoman Virginia Foxx endorsed Congressman Howard Coble's reelection bid at the Surry County Republican Party Headquarters in Mount Airy.

"Now more than ever, we need a strong conservative like Howard Coble in Washington," said Foxx. "He has been a leader in Congress on many vital issues. From congressional pension reform to protecting free enterprise to reducing federal spending and regulation, Congressman Coble has always been at the forefront of conservative cause."

"I am thankful to have the endorsement of Virginia Foxx," said Coble. "Virginia and I fight every day for the citizens of North Carolina against the overreach and overspending of the federal government."

Congressman Coble is a member of the Tea Party Caucus, the conservative Republican Study Committee, and the Sportsmen's Caucus. He is also a member of the House Judiciary and Transportation committees and a subcommittee chair in both.

After redistricting by the North Carolina General Assembly, Surry, Stokes and Rockingham counties were moved into the 6th Congressional District represented by Congressman Coble.

"While Surry, Stokes and Rockingham counties will remain in my heart, I know they will be in good hands with Howard Coble," Foxx said.
