Issue Position

Linda has proven her dedication to advancing women's rights. She proudly voted for the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, to restore a woman's right to challenge discriminatory pay decisions in the workplace. She is fighting to ensure that interested American women can train for high skills jobs where they have been typically underrepresented, including plumbing, electrical, and other well-paid construction work. Linda is also a strong advocate for policies that protect women's health and the right to choose. She has voted to ensure that women have equal opportunities to study advanced science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
