Virginia Tech -- Five Years Later

Statement

Date: April 16, 2012
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Guns

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement on the fifth anniversary of the horrendous shooting that took place at Virginia Tech:

"My thoughts and prayers remain with the entire Virginia Tech community and the Town of Blacksburg. Five years ago today, thirty-two beautiful lives were taken from us, and countless were forever changed. Time has likely brought comfort to some, but, for many, the healing process continues. As we reflect on this tragedy, I hope the country will join me in lifting up the Hokie Nation in prayer."
