Promote Job Creation:

First and foremost, I will never forget that politicians don't create jobs--business owners do. The job of an elected official is not to promise more jobs through government spending, but instead to help create a business-friendly environment that allows business owners--large and small--to step out, build a business (or expand an existing business) and create private-sector jobs. By simplifying and lowering the corporate tax rate--as well as reducing the regulatory burden and bureaucratic red tape--elected officials give entrepreneurs the ability to grow their business and hire more workers. The current administration and its Democratic allies in the Senate have heaped more taxes, regulation, and government mandates on the backs of American business and stifled growth. I will stand up against government growth, and always side with job creators.
