Congresswoman Laura Richardson Calls for the Continued Search of Missing Carson Resident Elgin Olu Stafford

On Tuesday, March 20th at 5:30 am, Elgin Olu Stafford was last seen leaving his parents' home on the 20000 block of Campaign Drive in Carson, California within the 37th Congressional District. Congresswoman Laura Richardson has been working with the family and local authorities to help locate 25-year-old missing Carson resident Elgin Olu Stafford.

"I have spoken with the family of Elgin Stafford and share in their urgency for information," said Congresswoman Richardson. "Whenever someone is missing it is the community's opportunity to step up and be the eyes and ears and assist in the safe return home. I am very concerned about the whereabouts of this young man and join his family in calling for the public's continued assistance to locate Elgin."

"My office is contacting organizations throughout my district, Watts, Compton, Carson and Long Beach to ensure that they have the latest contact information and posted photograph. We're reaching out to homeless shelters, youth organizations, the Boys and Girls Clubs in Watts/Willowbrook, churches, emergency rooms, community hospitals and the Long Beach Health Department's "Multi-Service Center" homeless division, to see if this young man, Elgin Stafford, found his way to any of those locations," said Congresswoman Richardson.
