Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., released the following statement regarding news that Shell will not be locating its ethane cracker plant in West Virginia:
"The news that Shell has chosen not to locate its ethane cracker plan in West Virginia is disappointing, especially during these tough economic times when every potential new job in critical.
"I believe in what West Virginia has to offer. Our dedicated workforce, strong infrastructure and abundant natural resources have made us an energy powerhouse for decades. We have the opportunity to get future opportunities for cracker facilities right."
